For all the world she reminded him of much younger Agatha Harkness.
-chuckle- I have to wonder how Minerva would take that comparison, esp. if she knew about Agatha Harkness. Too, I wonder how the staff will take it when they find out that Stephen Strange and Clea helped tutor Harry; I daresay that's going to disturb a few of them.Author's response
- I am seriously toying with the idea of having Minerva be the several great-niece of Agatha...
- And yes, several Purebloods are going to be somewhat disturbed when Stephen makes his appearance in the fic.Harry Potter and The Invincible Technomage

-snicker- I can just see that:
"Oh, and Minerva, dear, how is that young man I tutored doing over there? I so rarely see Tony Stark that I never hear how young Harry is."
Minerva's reaction should be priceless.Author's response
I don't know how chummy Agatha would be, I see her as having an extremely low opinion of the culture that cast her out 300 odd years earlier...
Then again, who knows, I don't know how a scene will work out until I write it.Harry Potter and The Invincible Technomage

Great start. Looking forward to a scene where HArry controls all Harry Potter dolls in Britain and they start marching in sync to Voldemort's hideout armed with flaming ice cream cones.
Is this fic on ffnet? I periodically check for fics there with the keyword 'Hermione'.Author's response
Now that's an aspect of my reoccuring Harry Potter Doll joke that I hadn't considered.
Yeah, it's on FFnet, same title.Harry Potter and The Invincible Technomage

Well, I'm currently on a campaign to get Harry sorted into hufflepuff, so things could be better, but at least he's away from Ron, who I've always considered quite useless. Parma should be a much better friend.
I used to like the ravenclaw sort, but a fix convinced me that it has to be the most boring house ever. Honestly, an obligatory three hour study session each day? shudder
I still think that puff loyalty would be the best for Harry, but I suppose that at least your Harry won't be as useless as in canon, and shouldn't need it.Author's response
- Part of what I want Harry Stark to do is unite the houses. Ron will be a friend, but not a bud, if you get my meaning.
- Smart isn't boring, smart is smart. A lot of people comment on the mandatory study time. When I was in high school, 5-6 hours of homework per night was not unusual... Of course I'm so old that I remember when you could only claim to be in a band if you played an instrument, and taking Trig your sophomore year wasn't unusual...
- As I see the houses, the idea that a single personality aspect defines any one house is nonsense.
- The Gryffs are brave. And loyal. And Smart. And pretty damned sneaky.
- The Puffs are loyal, and smart. And brave, and fairly sneaky in that no one notices aspect 2 and 3.
- The Claws are Smart. And loyal, and Brave, and sneaky enough to put things over on Luna (at least)
- The Slytherins are Sneaky. And Smart and brave and Loyal.
- Even in canon, each house has members that display all the aspects of the other housesHarry Potter and The Invincible Technomage
