- Love this story. This version of the sentient diary is much better explained than the canon version. Well done. When Vernon Didn't Miss

I really like the way you have progressed the bonding with Ginny, caused by her obsession with Harry, and refusal to accept reality. Reality has got to be such a tenuous concept for a culture that literally can wave a stick and make things happen.
I love the revenge on Pansy and ferret boy - again, one would think that a culture like this one would be ultra careful and precise in the words they use.

Hmm, I can almost hear the theme from "Jaws" in the background. I can almost feel sorry for Ginny, but to paraphrase Yoda, "Jealousy leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to the Dark side." She's partially set this up herself and I'm not at all certain she'll be relieved of Tom so easily, or comparatively inexpensively, this time.
It was interesting to get a "soul fragment's viewpoint" of how things are progressing at this point. 'Twas even more intresting to realiZe that for all his brilliance, knowledge, and ability, Tom still has major loopholes in his understanding of things. I suspect this may contribute to his downfall.
I enjoyed the bafflement and powerlessness of Snape and I thought what Harry did to Pansy was a delightful bit of revenge; she really should watch her words better and it's a shame the magic of the school took her at her word, just as it did Draco.
Given all he's learned and developed, Harry's still human and it's good to see that his mistake didn't materially make matters worse; I'm sure he'll still be regretting it, but he'll work through it.
The next chapter looks to be quite interesting as all of these plans come together in one nexus. When Vernon Didn't Miss

Another very interesting update. I like your brief mention of Ginny's bonding with the Horcrux. It makes things much more complicated, and prevents the Brotherhood from doing everything themselves. Very nice.Author's response
We can't make things TOO easy for Harry. He still has some crises to face after this one and before Voldemort. When Vernon Didn't Miss

Some nice details on the memory/horcrux combination, like the additional memories added, and it's view/opinion of Harry and the druids.
Love the idea of Draco's and Pansy's wishes being fulfilled by Harry's magic; cute notion! And it's a nice note that Harry doesn't take advantage of Draco's subsequent tunnel vision.
Not sure I like the loophole in Pansy's condition - in that it's only mirrors that are attached to the castle which are influenced by the spell - when Draco's plight has no such condition.
I've never liked Rowling's setting up elves to be, in fact, more powerful than wizards, or those fanfics that have featured elves heavily. I'd be happy if 'popping' and such was just forgotten, when it came to wizard-on-wizard action. Oh well.
So, this did become a H/Hr story, hey? I think earlier on you were undecided?

Wow what a fic!
The changes you wrought and the way things are going sure make this a very exiting read. I had liked the friendship that harry and Hermione developed, then to see the inclusion of Luna so early and there Harry caring for her made my day.
I've always believed that if not Hermione, Luna would have been the next best girl to love our hero!
Now it seems claer Hery does care for both greatly but its more Brotherly towards Luna here. And I'm ok with it as long as its Hermione who's hes with.
Too bad he can't Marry both eventually! They match up well as a trio!
On the way you added the Ancients and the Druids and gave the Vamps a lighter use. Great job, just remember even there Vampires are dark as well. So a few should be on Voldy-Shorts side too.
Hope you update soon!
