damn dumbles really knows how to make friends doesnt he. i really hope Harry makes dumbles life as difficult as possible while at hogwarts. im assuming either slytherin or ravenclaw. though i wonder why Harry never thought of going to a different magical school. damn that was fucked up what Dumbles did. fucker has the audacity to actually fuck his life up and expect him to take it with a smile. damn him!!! until next time

I freely admit when I started reading this story I wasn't too expectant about it as I've taken to mostly reading massively powerful, independent stories and this seemed to be opposite in some cases, however after reading the last two chapters in particular I find that I am eagerly looking forward to the next.Elementary Calculations

wicked cackle Ohh, bad move Albus, you're most definitely not going to have much influence, save in a negative way, on molding him now. You have no idea of his abilities or brains and yet you go and fuck him over like that just for your need for control? That's a rather stupid move that's going to bite you big time. I agree that Ravenclaw or Slytherin are the most likely Houses for Harry; the first would be acceptable to Dumbles while the second would give him severe discomfort (heh, imagine Harry actually making friends with Draco and, while having his attitudes on some things hardened, demonstrating that there are reasons not to look down on muggles and so ameliorating Lucius' teaching. I could see a joint Potter-Malfoy team as being very, very dangerous for the Headmaster and any else who cross them.Elementary Calculations

Great mental imaging and mental processes, loved the way you tied it together, and looking forward to seeing what you produce next.Elementary Calculations

Dumbledore, for all his years experience, totally blew that. How he expects to lead and mold an openly hostile and mistrustful student is beyond my comprehension. Harry will see Hogwarts as jail, Dumbledore as the warden, and Snape as a sadistic guard. He may as well be molding another Voldemort. His studies are far more likely to be about how to 'escape' than learning the basics of wizardry. To that end, he may make some strategic alliances, and haunt the library looking up wizarding laws.Elementary Calculations

Intense scene, well written.
I'd say he has the information and ability to attend some other magical school he wishes or to drop out of sight altogether. He has the money and the brainpower to do either, but most authors stick him in Hogwarts so they don't have to think up a plotline.
His best bet would be to go to ground somewhere as it's easily apparent that the Headmaster is up to something and being in his power isn't something that would be good for him.
He's definitely a Puff with his attitude.Elementary Calculations

I was just going to leave a one word review of "Cool", but apparently the review handling script on this site has a filter that censors short reviews. In any case, this story is quite the compelling narrative, mainly due to excellent character interactions, coupled with masterful character development.
