  Good one! Bit abrupt but then most of the scenes in this chapter, we have seen in canon already so it really didn't matter.

  I'm surprised that
  A) Harry mentions avoiding being detected doing underage magic. If he has to worry about that, why not go home and start casting spells with the wand. Then he can be expelled from Hogwarts AND get the auors to remove the compulsions on the muggle headmaster.
  
  B) WHy would he spend his money on school supplies? He should just show up in the clothes he'd wear to Xaiver, and when somebody objects, say that as he didn't sign up for Hogwarts but was forced by Dumbledore using charms on his other school's headmaster, Dumbledore should assume all the costs associated with Hogwarts, since he's taken the choice away. I don't blame Harry for buying the other stuff, but not the school supplies.

  Good chapter.
  A bit disappointed with hermione's placement but well can't have everything. Hopefully you will resort her in future. Can atleast hope.
  Any particular significance of this wand, it's materials???
  And please let the fireworks between Harry and all the dumb asses(dumbles, snape, ron n all fan girls) begin.

  wah, this update was too short pouts hoping for a longer chapter next time and looking forward to how harry deals with dumbles, snape and the others. i have a feeling it wont be going well for them evil smirk

  Very good part here, and can't wait to see what happens next, as Albus seems determined to not only kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, but then defile it's corpse. Yes, Hermione in Gryffindor will indeed have a harder time imo, and can't wait to see how things will go with her, and who Harry might end up being friends with, if he does allow anyone to get close to him.
