A good short story that gives Dumbledore just what he deserves - a slow painful death.
I hope Harry found peace and happiness with his frends.
Your a great story teller. Keep it up.

Cool story, the ending was good too.
It would be cool to see the entity make guest appearances in crossovers and cause chaos there too.The Face in the Pool

A nice little tale. I liked the bit about DD having to kiss the asses he worked so hard to protect. I always wondered why he considered the lives of his enemies more valuable than those of his allies.
No direct evidence of ships but that is to be expected.
Have a nice break and if you get an inspiration I'm sure we would all be glad to read it.

An excellent story, and a saddened reader who hopes that this is not, truly, the end of your writing, but merely a vacation...
Training and Confrontations could definitely use a sequel, after all...
Or, if you are tired of writing about Harry & Company, but wish to explore other avenues within the same world, I've always enjoyed the character of Dr. Titus Pwy from your OLD BELIEVERS story, and would love to see further written about his exploits.

- Good story Doc, I enjoyed it a lot.
- You'll be back. You'll go a few days or even weeks without writing, but that monkey will start jumping up and down on your back before you know it... You'll start thinking about how dumb it was for Harry to have done this or that and what could have changed it for the better...
- And the Doctor will once again be in...The Face in the Pool

And once again you manage to come up with a somewhat unique storyline, all spun from a single moment being played out differently than in canon. Not only that, but your version stays much closer to the canon personalities of the characters as they are depicted in the first five books than the author's own sixth and seventh volumes even attempt to do. I look forward to seeing what next escapes your fertile imagination! The Face in the Pool

Thank you for this and all your stories. I, too, hope inspiration strikes you. I also know the feeling of wondering if everything I have to say about HP has been said (or is being said in the fics I'm writing offline before posting :-)
Loved Luna's & Hermione's interaction. And Harry's stealing the hallow. I was wondering about what he was up to, as it didn't seem in character, and then the answer came with the theft. Good job!
Oh, for inspiration purposes: how about Miss Spellman meeting her father?
(scene)
Dumbledore: I am your father!
Samantha: NOOOOOOOO!
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Thanks again!

noylj -- I was also disappointed in 'Moony', a wasted character as far as I could see.
The elder wand would be useful; but I have no idea what good the stone would be over a long term
