I have to admit while the two Omakes were good-- I did not enjoy either of them, I like happy endings.-- the last omake would work better if one girl saw though Astarte, and helped Harry.Author's response
Thank you for reading and reviewing - Maybe, we can petition Seel'vor, who wrote both omake, to pen a sequel!

Great story. I like the Omake at the end and think that alternate endings are great.
I look forward to reading more of your work and hope to get to see a Sequel from Seel'vor.Author's response
Thank you for reading and reviewing, I had fun writing it and that's always a good sign.
Drop Seel'vor a line and encourage him to pick up the thread he started with his fine omake.

Good story, I really enjoyed it. It does give us several things to think about, and was brought to a good conclusion. And I did enjoy the omake as well, the second being better than the first imho.
Anyway, keep writing, I like your style.Author's response
Thank you for reading and reviewing, and thank you for your encouraging words - I'm currently working on a re-write of Battered Hearts, also on this site.

Harry's love for his witches and for humanity in general saved him in the end. I didn't like the idea of all wizards stripped of their powers just because they were men. Harry was right in that it was unjust and for the Goddess to do that made her just as domineering as any man she had a problem with.
I'm not a feminist, but I do believe that neither sex has the right of unrighteous dominion over the other for any reason. Spouses are to be helpmates to one another--a team. If one wields magic in dominion over the other, there is no team. It's Voldemort all over again.
It made me cry sad tears. I cried for Harry because he'd given so much and been through so much that he was stripped of his magic just because he was a man and his women had to return it to him. They did it for love of him, which was a beautiful thing, but that's not the point. It should never have been taken from him to begin with.
Overall, I enjoyed this story. The use of the homunculi was imaginative, if not a bit disturbing, but it allowed for some redemption on Bellatrix's, Narcissa's, and Tom's parts. It was just sad that Tom lost his magic so soon after he was revived, especially when he tried to help eliminate an terrible evil.
I'm glad Ginny was redeemed in her own way. Possession by that type of demon--or any demon--is distructive to the body and spirit. She was headed for disaster, that's for sure.
Gods and goddesses in legend and lore are almost always petty and manipulative and that applies to Astarte and Abaddon. What's important is an individual's right to choose for him or herself which path he or she will take and either reap the blessings or consequences.
Good job.

I have got to say, this is one of the best HP AU's I have ever read. Love Astarte ("Par-tay Tar-tay" nearly made me wet myself laughing); love Harry's Coven of Four Houses. The whole entire lovely story made me alternately grin, snicker, laugh out loud, cry, and go "NOOOOOOO!!!". The first omake made me cringe, poor Harry! -- and the second kinda sets us up for another stoooorrrryyyyy...hint hint... :) Overall, superlative.Author's response
Thank you for reading and reviewing and for your kind words of encouragement.
I have to admit, Astarte is one fun goddess!
Sounds like you got out of the story exactly what I put into it, lots of blood, sweat, laughter and tears.
Brightest Blessings,

Honestly I view things as worse in that situation instead of better. Women in power in a normal situation might be more benign and good than a man, just naturaly less agressive. On the other hand Women really know how to hold a grudge and are extreemely vindictive of any slight against them, a wife will bring up a ruined dress for DECADES after the fact. That being said these are WOMEN who until recently were supposively opressed by men, I just can't see them being kind and gentle with men when they are now in power.
Plus you have the fact that women were only opressed by their own spineless nature and unwillingness to fight back, they all still had magic. Men on the other hand at the end of htis story do not, as such they are utterly defenseless to the whims of witches which make them even more opressed against vindictive women than the witches were under the men.Author's response
Interesting things are happening here at FicWad. I've gone literally years without seeing a review in my e-mail, and today I saw 85.
I do thank you for reading and reviewing and for your honest opinion, my goal was to shake up the magical world here, and yes, my methods were blunt, but hey, sometimes a bigger hammer, right?
Hopefully you spotted the opportunity for a more fair and balanced outcome in the future.
Oh, Goddess, I sound like that crap news network...
Cheers,
N!
