While i can say i truly enjoyed your story I do have to say that the ending was a little unrealistic to the world that you have written about (yes its your story and you can change things as you wish but still) with the pureblood (and possibly some of the halfbloods) reliance on magic and in fact inability to cope without it I would see that a complete removal of magic from the males would cause at the very least mass hysteria and insanity possibly leading up to full mass suicide as what is their entire life is stripped away from them. I wish to make it clear I am not flaming nor criticising you merely pointing out what i personally see as a flaw in the ending but then again with how many flaws there were in the last books of the real series it pales in comparisonIf Wishes Were Hippogriffs

Okay, having read just finished reading this, I'd like to say, "Great Story!"
Unfortunately, I read your author's notes, and feel the need to correct a few false statements that show your college professors failed you before I do so.
1.) Any, yes, any, statement that implies that one gender is better than the other, in any way, shape or form irregardless of context or subject is a sexist statement.
2.) A person will always favor members of their own gender over those of the opposite gender, with the exception of family and friends. A complete stranger is more likely to favor YOU over THEM if YOU are the same gender as the stranger and THEY are the opposite.
3.)Feminism is the strive for equality between the sexes, not the belief that women are more or less of something than men.
So, yes, the various people on the forums were correct in saying you had made a sexist statement.
In response to those people, I say, "Big effin' whoop."
It is your story and it is well writ. I enjoyed reading it and enjoyed the ending as well.
It is truly impossible to avoid thinking or saying something sexist, simply because of the way our brains are wired, which is why Feminism is the striving for equality.
Having gotten all that out of the way, without further ado:

Well, I have to tell that the story in general is really good, I can delete a couple of parts and a couple of characters. Like you, thanks god, erase Ron you can do the same to Ginny. Please understand I do not like her simple as that, I do not think she is a slut as you describe her, with or without the help of tom. But still I do not like her. I start reading think that the story will be a H/Hr/ and the rest of lovely girls but it almost seems as she was really near to be kill or simple sent to secondary or less position on the story, so as I can´t rate the story any more I have to provide a 3 overall. Anyway thanks for the story. If Wishes Were Hippogriffs

without hate there can be no love.
without fear there can be no courage.
without woman there can be no man.
without prejudice there can be no pride.
without death there can be no life.
these and many more truths have been spoken, but we don't see the truths for what they are,and i think the author of this story see's many of these truths from his/her point of view and puts them forth in this story for all of us to see them and debate them, for this the author has my thanks, and my sincerest gratitude for being the great author that he/she is.If Wishes Were Hippogriffs

I've just finished reading the whole story, and while i don't prefer evangelion-type endings, it was a very good read. In times the fic seemed to haul itself in many directions, but i think it has structure and plot. No much descriptions in the later sex scenes but enough to satisfy. The only thing is that there were so many characters that some were lacking substance. But it is the curse of big harem type fics. I enojed it thoroughly and hope to read more of your work.

Fantastic book, read it in under a day, and found myself hanging off every word.
But may I ask in... I'd like to be Obliviated of the muggle alternate ending... It would have been kinder to kill him.If Wishes Were Hippogriffs

Taking the final chapter as a whole, it is pretty good, although, not particularly thought provoking (anything that claims complete perfection over someone or something, I just... ignore).
The one weakness of this ending (in my mind) is that it ignores Bellatrix Lestrange, a serious contender for equality on an evil scale with Voldemort. It also seems a bit odd that the 'punishment' was levied due to the actions of immortals, but the punishment was inflicted upon mortals.
In a way this chapter reads similarly to the mythological stories from ancient times where the mortals are punished for the actions of the immortals (Hera and Zeus' disagreements about his infidelity simply hurt the mortal involved, etc.).
A good story, but I think it would have been improved by a different ending.
