A Fist Full of Galleons

Well, Draco most definitely reaped what he'd sown and I rather doubt he's going to get much of another chance. I rather imagine the parents of the students involved are going to be rather wroth and want an attack on Harry and friends; I rather suspect that's just going to lead to yet another defeat for Tommy-oy's forces. Meanwhile, I rather like the developing relationship between Harry & Hermione, and Luna, and I rather suspect that's going to generate its own controversy (at least with certain Weasleys). The scene with Madame Pomfrey was nicely done and affecting and, in its own way, could well have some interesting repurcussions down the line. I presume that Harry's wand has no traces because he's using wandless magic? As for how he's doing the other, I can think of a few ways, but I'll wait and see.
You could definitely "hear" Sergio Leone theme music in the background, here; though parts of this are also reminiscent of certain film and book genres where a loner steps in when the society can't or won't deliver justice (the "Death Wish" series of films and "The Executioner" series of novels come to mind as prime examples).A Fist Full of Galleons

Very good update, it was nice to see that the vigilante revenge didn't waste any time. Hopefully similar incidents in the future are handled just as brutally.
Looking forward to more.A Fist Full of Galleons

Great chapter Doc, I loved every line of it. I like what you've done with Snape, as well as the punishment handed out by Harry. Keep up the good work and see you next chapter.A Fist Full of Galleons

Loved it all. Well, maybe not that Hermione was injured so badly, but it was off screen and it was just a nasty beating without anything unforgivable. So I'm cool with it.
Loved the fact that Harry isn't taking any crap from anyone, and is happy to dish it out to the toad. As others have mentioned, I like how you're working Snape into the story as someone who does more than just sneer at how arrogant Potter is.
Loved the eye for an eye retaliation. It really is good to read these smegheads getting what they deserve.
Loved the whole 'mothers kiss' concept and that Hermione wanted more, Especially loved that Hermione seemed happy to include Luna. Total win. 10/10 from me.

An excellent start, really dragging us in from the first sentence. I was worried for Ron ... and then I was even more worried for Hermione.
My theory was that Harry had gone back in time to fight and punish the malefactors, but while he might have squeaked clear on that first vow I can't see how he could make the second without actually being innocent. Maybe he used a time turner to repulse the attack but wasn't directly responsible for Malfoy and Goyle. Or maybe he's vocalising a "flash of light spell" when everyone thinks he's making a magical vow?
"I think Ron would rather ache a bit" -- heh!
Gee, Draco's testicles get some rough treatment in your stories, don't they? Starting from A Muggle Summer.
"Siblings and lovers" can do a healing kiss ... so it's not for certain that H/Hr belongs in the latter category yet?
Good luck on your book!
