Great part! They really need to ask him what crimes he committed on Hogwarts grounds as well as elsewhere.Author's response
Heya Rob!
You guys don’t want me to finish this story do you? You all have such wonderful ideas! If I do touch on this subject again, I will. However, he’s already told them that his assignment was to prevent anyone of ‘the wrong sort’ from becoming Aurors or healers.
I could make up a whole list of nasty crimes, but should I?

Wow, you really finally got Dumbledore pinned like a bug for the fist time in what has likely been years. Just IMO, I always got a feeling that JKR fell in love with some of her characters, and had these great ideas about them, even saying so after the series was finished, but during the actual canon, well, she sort of fell flat. Looking forward to the aftermath of Snape and his confessions, if this is going to lead to Lucius finally falling down, and how long will Dumbledore last, or, will he not make it tomtheooint the curse will kill him?Author's response
Heya Wonder!
You know I love stomping on Dumbledore. I think I’ve done so in most of my stories. I agree with you on JKR’s infatuation. It’s possible she misassociated the actors with the characters…as so many ‘reformed Snape’ authors do. And again, I agree the story did have so very many plotholes. But that’s what fanauthors are for. We love to fill in those loverly holes.
Yes, Amelia is going to use Snape’s testimony to hang Lucy and as many of his friends as she can catch.
Dumbledore is already out of the picture. He’s been divested of all of his positions, he still holds his seat on the Wizengamot, but cannot vote. he’s no longer head of anything, he’s lost all his power and is under house arrest at his estate. In addition, he has that nasty curse slowly dissolving his arm and more, and no Snape to slow its progress. Sometimes it sucks to be him.

Love Mad Eye's middle name. Also will you have Bones give Dumbledore the transcript of Snape's questioning at some point? If you do please make it a big post. Would love to see the old fools reaction to being played.Author's response
Heya Destroyer!
One of the best known movie stars of this century was named Marion Michael Morrison. He absolutely hated that name. His screen name was John Wayne. Also, in the movie ‘Cobra’, Sylvester Stallone, played a character called Marion Cobretti. That character also hated his name. That’s why when he and Connie went to Azkaban to retrieve Sirius, he answered ‘Alastor none of your goddamn business Moody.’
“Transcript: I honestly hadn’t considered that. From one viewpoint it would show Dumbledore as having been played, but from the other, how much was Albus really fooled. He has his fingers in every pie in the British Wizarding World, how is it possible that he didn’t know of Snape’s crimes? Remember, here I’m having Dumbledore keeping Snape close not only as protection, but also to control him. If there’s one thing Dumbledore loves, it’s control.A THOUSAND YEARS

I loved seeing Dumbles and Snape get arrested! What a pair of scumbags they are....... I wish they could feel all the pain and terror they dished out to innocent people. Honestly, vermin like that should be stomped on with extreme prejudice. Here's hoping Snape pays in agony both before and after his miserable life ends! Is Dumbles going to keep swearing that Snape's actions were still for "the greater good"? If he does, can someone please punch him dead in the mouth? They could break his nose again too....... I think he's one of the nastiest villains ever invented, worse then Voldy and the DE's could ever be! Hmmm, they'd better have lots of shields covering Snape at the trial, and hope that no one figures out some other way to do a little pest control. I hope that Amelia manages to keep the arrests quiet or Malfoy and his drones might try and leave the country. Methinks the aurors will be very tempted with the thought of "shot while trying to escape" or "they slipped on a banana peel, honest " as they bring in the loathsome insects. Many thanks for posting this, and as always thoughts of the next chapter fills me with anticipation! :)Author's response
Heya Teresa!
Glad you got a tickle. I agree, both are scumbags of the worst sort, even in canon. In fact, I’ve even called Dumbledore the evilest villain ever written. Since I despise both characters, I tend to make them…worse.
Feeling the pain: that would be an interesting story. Imagine if whenever one of Dumbledore’s plots goes awry he is required to feel the pain it cost his victim. Snape would likely blame someone else, though.
As you can see, I enjoy stomping on the both of them whenever I can.
Snape’s fate is going to include playing tonsil hockey with a dementor, and Dumbledore is so convinced of his own omniscience, that he can never be wrong. Unfortunately, another pop on the beak is not in the cards. I have the final three chapters written already and I prefer ignominious endings for the twinkling one. You’ll understand why I cannot have Harry hit him, when you read the final chapter.
~I think he's one of the nastiest villains ever invented, worse then Voldy and the DE's could ever be!~
I agree. He’s a…(Gasp!) politician! As someone told Jack Ryan in ‘Hunt for Red October’, “I’m kissing babies while I’m thinking of how to steal their lollipops.” He lies to everyone and somehow manages to convince them it’s for their own good. That kind of proselytizer makes me sick. I can see him wearing a white linen jacket and telling me he’s worried about my soul.
~Hmmm, they'd better have lots of shields covering Snape at the trial, and hope that no one figures out some other way to do a little pest control.~
Good point.
Arrests: Precisely. She’d s gonna use a simultaneous strike to get them all in one go. Even if a few do escape, they’ll be screwed anyway.
~Methinks the aurors will be very tempted with the thought of "shot while trying to escape" or "they slipped on a banana peel, honest " as they bring in the loathsome insects.~
She’s gonna have to ride hard on them, but as during the arrest, they will be professionals.
Thanks for the kudos, and I’ll post as soon as I’ve polished the next chapter.

P.s. I’m waiting to see your name on the author’s line. You have such great ideas; maybe it’s time for you to flesh some of them out.
That’s a hint, by the way.A THOUSAND YEARS

I would guess that Snape was asked a number of other questions as well since you stated they had about 6 hours of time before a reaction to the overdose set in. Normal interrogation procedure is to find out what the subject had for breakfast the year before if possible.
Enjoyed it.Author's response
Heya Pointer.
If I went all out, that chapter would have been about thirty thousand words. I may touch on the interrogation once mere, for background, specifically when Lucy goes down, but for the rest, let us assume that whatever they need, Snape will have confessed.
Glad you enjoyed.

A most excellent arrest. Here's to hoping that Albus wont be able to talk his way out of things.
Any chance of a curious Hermione discovering her elder self's memories in the ship, and talking the A.I. version of herself into giving them to her? She does have full access now, right?Author's response
Heya John Wolfe
Arrest: Thank you. I’ve seen many arrests go down the toilet because someone failed to take the details seriously. Snape would always ensure he had some way to escape any situation, and I wanted those avenues closed to him. Having studied cathedrals, castles and Great Halls, (and I shudder at the lack of safety precautions those brave men who built them worked under!) I know a bit about their design. Canon references those doors beside the teacher’s table. (Actually GoF references one door, but such places were always symmetrical.)
Albie’s short-lived defiance: I can see him trying something of the sort. Bluster first, then an overwhelming attack. He’s so convinced of his own omniscience that he cannot conceive of anyone not believing in him with all their heart and soul, but he’s also written as very capable in a fight. (Ref: OotP) Quantity is a quality of it’s own.
Talking his way free: No. Dumbledore’s fate is sealed, both by Amelia and Augusta…and by the author, who really doesn’t like him. (Snicker)
Hermione/’Mione. No. There’s no reason to do so. While they will chat from time to time, there really is no need for Hermione to receive those memories. When this story is done, the world will go on, somewhat improved, and little Harry and Hermione will grow up like normal children. He will still have his memories, but they will fade as the time line is changed. She does have full access, but as I told mjames42, ‘Mione is sentient and she can and will refuse any orders that prove dangerous. Giving a borderline genius the amassed knowledge of a thousand years definitely qualifies as dangerous!
(Although it would hatch some rather entertaining plot bunnies…)
