Just read the first chapter ... Great start. I like where this story line seems to be heading and can't wait to read more. On to chapter 2. By the way I can't raise the rating as it is already at 5.Harry Potter and the Midnight Sun.

I have to say that I adore how cliche and crazy this story is.
I think the point you make about Harry being better at acting without thinking than thinking while acting is spot on and applies in the actual series as well. He operates on pure instinct.
I like this story so much that while I normally wait a couple months before rereading a good story, this story I've only waited about a week before coming back.

Love the beginning!
Harry is trying to escape Bumbles control and is still doing the 'saving people thing'. The girls from Hogwarts are apparently in character and The British Ministry is still as stupid as ever.
A very good start! Looking forward to the rest!

After hearing of Gabriel's plight Harry heads to the ministry and finds out what departments handle such matters. he then Crucio's every member of those departments into insanity, brings in a Dementor he captured to suck out their souls, Then he Tuases their husks through the Veil of Death. Next he completely destroy's said departments with Fyndefire.Harry Potter and the Midnight Sun.

I know I've read some of this before but I just can't believe I didn't leave a review! I can easily believe the British Ministry of/for Morons would pass such a law! If you think in terms of a cars transmission these fools only have one gear, REVERSE! If it were a movie like Back to the Future they'd only have the word Back in their titles. Anyhoo, Good Ole Fumblemort isn't gonna like the idea of Harry Bonding a Veela never mind leaving the country for the summer! Though, quite frankly, I really don't understand why he'd ever come back! The Disorder of the Flaming Pigeon are absolutely useless. The Ministry'll fall to Vulturewurst just as soon as he puts any effort into taking it. The SHEEPLE of Britain will follow whoever bleats the loudest. And Good Ole Fumblemort has been sucking on his Lemon Drops for so long they've rotted his brain! So please point out to me where Harry's supposed to get any help defeating Vulturewurst? Then explain why he should return once he's escaped his captors?
