- Well the phrase "You can kiss my elven ass" will go down in history as one of Dobby's greatest one liners in fan fiction... Looking forward to more.Author's response
Yes, it had me snickering too when I thought of it as well =). Thanks for the review!Technomancer - The light path

funny; especially 'yous can kiss my elven arse!'
Young Harry talks a little too mature for a 5 year old, though.
looking forward to what you have next
redAuthor's response
Hmm mature? glad to see my plan is working! =). To be honest I kinda need him to be a bit more mature and intelligent than the average Bear, a normal 5 year old would do childish and selfish things. I like to think a lifetime of no friends would make a person more serious, and learning to read hefty reading literiture like The Lion Witch and the Wardrobe at 5 would show smarts. ;) Wait for more and things shall be revealed.Technomancer - The light path

well this is a delightful start to things!!! and normal 5 year olds can speak quite well, given exposure. Looks over shoulder at my 5 year old, who exclaimed "whoa, the cookie motherload" when we went to pickup our troops Girl Scout cookies* I've known 5 year olds, whose parents were lawyers, tell me they would take something under advisement, and get back to me later. Tricksy the 5 year olds are, yes my precious...Author's response
I agree, some can be quite scary and come out with some quite amazingly mature and sometimes highly embarrasing things. Thanks for the review =)Technomancer - The light path

I realy like this story.
This stories is the first one from help from a painting of Harry.
Looking for more.
Author's response
Thanks =), I tried for something original. I love time travel fics but do tend to find most of them a tad clichet, ie: Harry is 11 again, inherits billions of gallions, buys a trunk, becomes Lord such and such, discovers the family manor etc etc.Technomancer - The light path

Good so far, I think that the age of A.R. Harry is a little on the young side. You say the worlds are about 120 years apart and that harry did the spell on his death bed. Seem a bit young since he is a very powerful wizard and they are shown in cannon as living longer then normal IE (Dumbles is 150-160 in the books)Author's response
I made Harry 5 because I'm not a big believer of the stories where he becomes a master of magic or oclumency over a summer break, in my story he will learn the physical and internal skills over the next 6 years along with some magic(not saying what but the title says a lot), Hogwarts will still have a lot to offer him. Dumbledore was around 117 when he was killed, he was born in 1881 making him 100 at the time of the potters death according to JKR.
Thanks for the review =) every one helps push me to do a new chapter.Technomancer - The light path

Nice part here, and liking the little bit more unusual take on TT fics, as well as the superkeen part with Dobby, which just rocked, along with the idea of Narcissa doing a spittake.Author's response
I do like the TT fics a lot, some are gems, others go way overboard. Trouble is they all seem a bit samey. Expect no amazing blasting powers in this fic, or multi pheonix animagi, or an amazing menagerie of magical familiars. I do plan on making Dobby a bit of a comedy sidekick tho, ya know, to take Ron's place.Technomancer - The light path

Definitely a unique and interesting approach to the TT genere. I loved the bit with freeing Dobby and the rest of the Malfoy Elves (how did he reach into Gringotts and burn those contracts?). It will be interesting to watch the effects of the advice the portrait gives as well as what the freed elves decide to do for Harry. I can see we're in for an interesting ride here.Author's response
Thanks for the positive review =). Now the burning of the contracts? simply put young Harry activated a replacement contract which destroyed the old one by fire and since they were all together in one file.... An interesting thing to point out is the painting was imprinted by a senile old man so it's advice should be very interesting.
