For some reason I can see this Harry before he is sorted apologizing to all the teachers and students for all the actions he's going to take over the year, and explaining just how the headmaster destroyed his future to force him into the school; and the fact he's going to be so disruptive that the headmaster will be forced by the school bylaws to expel him.

I am loving this story so far. It had always surprised me that every single student seemed to want to come to hogwarts without thinking about it twice. Not all eleven year olds are smart or mature enough to think about the consequences but not all are. There is always a few.
Personally I am hoping this will not turn into one of the stories where harry will forget and forgive eventually. What has just been done to him is serious. Something he has dedicated himself to for so long just ripped away. Sounds to me like he needs to look up guardianship rules.
Eagerly looking forward to more.Elementary Calculations

I read this chapter, and thought about the Harry you portrayed..and he would have known that he could get the transfer overthrown by simpley declaring it a fraud, as Petunia would love for him NOT to attend Hogwarts..heck he could even say that DD was part of the cult and had plans for him....
So for him to go is just a plot device, no backing at all:{...
Beside we all know Snape will be bad, and he will give up potions....my wish is to see Harry not goto Hogwarts..and get a private Tuor for magic
All DD has done is guarantee that Harry hates him and Hogwarts...and the wizard world...
It was good while it lasted:{...You wrote yourself into a corner and now its a bad decision to go on...rewrite needed to fix it and the plotholes

oh ye of little faith. Did you realy think I did not take the option of having Petunia simply declare the papers fake into account? And you have to take the reactions of the wizarding public into account as well if Harry were to declare that he wants to stay in a muggle insitution versus Hogwarts and how they would react to Dumbledore's actions. I already have an expaination for the way this encounter went.Elementary Calculations

Man for the supposed, leader of the light he sure acted like a heartless basterd. and why did fawks feel that dumbledick was in danger. but anyway I can't wait for harry to raise hell in hogwarts but while he does it I hope that harry and hermione have a chance to at least get close to each other. but dumbles has effectivly made harry his enemy.

Lovely. Dumbledore's blind insistence that he's right and it's just a matter of time before everyone will see that is depicted beautifully.
Though just once I'd like to see a Stumbledore who suddenly realizes that yeah, hatred and malice CAN survive, that people do NOT give a damn for the greater good, and yes, there are folks who'd cheerfully burn the world for the sake of revenge.

Of course, there's the risk of Stumbledore seeing that Harry will refuse to willingly ride to the rescue of the Wizarding world and "reluctantly" decide that a mind-controlled or enthralled, or even marked Harry (A phoenix * lightning bolt tattoo on his right arm, perhaps?) would be needed for the "greater good". After all, /"sacrifices must be made"/.
I seem to recall one or two fics that went down that path...
