  Well good conclusion to the discussion with the Slytherins. I still cast my vote H/Hr or H/slytherin girl. But, I have no problems accepting Cho in an expanded role, perhaps romance with Ron even. No big deal to throw him a bone I guess.
  
  Ron is a bumbling idiot, and a piss poor excuse for a wizard. Name one feat of magic that could be described as impresssive that he has done. He is always out of the action before the end due to ineptitude. Ginny can either way.

  Thanks for the suggestion about the ship with Ron, but I am not sure that Cho is compatible with Ron. It would be a really difficult thing for them to cooperate.
  
  It is true that Ron is not very impressive when it comes to magic, but he has been loyal to Harry (more or less, at least). I have plans for Ron and Ginny.

  Very nice chapter, esp. the unbreakable vow Hermione made; it could lead to a very nice stable H/Hr relationship if you play your cards right (hint hint). Seriously though, I like how you didn't dismiss all the older Slytherins as simply not existing like most writers often do, not to mention have some of them be on either side of the fence. It's always Nott, Crabbe, Goyle, and Malfoy that are Junior DEs it seems; it is very refreshing to see that other people exist in Slytherin that gasp have opinions. Superbly done.

  Thanks for your opinion about the ship. Like you, I am not comfortable putting all the Slytherins in one large budding Death eaters group - there are a lot of differences in all Houses, as we can see. Also, I intend to develop the Slytherins a bit more (the House in general).

  Hermione's oath seems to more place her into the completely trusted friend role, which I perfer. Still will push for Harry/Cho or Harry/Daphne.

  good morning; I'm liking this story so far; it's got a very interesting premise. The only thing I would mention; is the dialogue seems really stilted for each of the characters; they all seem to talk alike, and that's not how they would really talk. I can see Hermione being really precise with her speaking; but the others would probably be a little less formal in private conversations. I hope this is making sense; but it's very early in the morning and my caffiene hasn't kicked in yet GRIN

  Thanks for your review - it was most helpful. About the dialogue (cringes), I know - it is just that I tend to be a little too formal while writing. I will make more of an effort into making them sound like themselves. Thanks a lot for pointing it out. Harry, Ron and others should at least sound a little less pompous.

  I am glad that Hermione is with Harry. The Slytherin's proposal was interesting and I'm pleased that Harry is willing to hear them out. I can't help but wonder about Ron and Ginny. Of the two it seems Ron would be the most likely to betray Harry, unless Dumbledore bribed Ginny with getting Harry or something like that. I'm sort of surprised that Moody hasn't been raising a stink about how the Order is operating considering his personality. Is Draco really a hardcore Death Eater? What about trying to gain some more Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws? Or some of the alums of Hogwarts like Oliver Wood?

  Thanks for the encouragement. I think Hermione is one solid and dependable person, and she would support Harry unconditionally. About Ron and Ginny - you will find out in Chapter 6.
  
  As for Moody and the remainder of the Order, you will be finding out some things much much later in the story. Draco, I think, is in love with the concept of lording it over others - it is this aspect of the Dark Lord he finds attractive. I doubt he has the guts to rape and murder in reality. I will not spoil what I have in store for him, but he is one enigmatic character.
  
  Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws are already being recruited - it is in the next chapter, and I am uploading it in a few minutes. I am afraid I am not going to involve the alumnies of Hogwarts. The fic is Hogwarts centric, and I doubt outsiders can interact with Harry a great deal when he is in Hogwarts.

  What another great chapter;
  
  By the looks of it with Hermione help, Harry is uniting all the four Houses. I'm happy that Harry has got Hermione on his side.
  
  I hope to see some Harry/who ever you're going to get date Harry with, soon. I hope it is both Hermione and Cho, but Hermione if all possible.

  Thanks for the encouragement. Yes, uniting the school is the idea. They cannot hope to oppose Voldemort effectively if one fourth of the school is on Voldemort's side. Hermione, I think, is a person who would side Harry unconditionally (as long as he is not doing something immoral).
  
  As for the ship, you are going to have to wait until at least chapter 7 - when things start hotting up, and the war begins in earnest.

  nice talk between harry and hermione...for me it solifides my earlier reasoning for a h/hr pairing...she is good for harry as she keeps him thinking things through...
