Hope this isn't a repeat. PC playing up. Excellent to see Dummbles have to suffer the two things he fears the most, lack of magic & lack of fame. May he suffer eternally. Thank God Ron wasn't in the SEAL's who did the right thing to get ObL the other day. I think Luna had already foreseen this and at least kept a small part of him. It was so easy to take Voldie out that way. The lack of real action would have stunned all the DEs and gave them that little element of surprise. A great victory with small collateral damage. Very enjoyable chapter. Cheers.

G'day, Zamia!
Nope, not a repeat.
Poor poor Dumbley, has to face the consequences of his actions.
Excuse me. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
Thank you.
Having been a SEAL, I'd have to say if any of my teammates acted like that in combat I'd have killed him myself. The mission is too important for grandstanders. Fortunately the SEAL's are one of the most disciplined special forces in the world, behind only the SpetzNaz and on a par with the SAS/SBS.
I normally don't rejoice in the death of another, but in the case of Bin Laden, I think I can make an exception.
Luna: Yes she did. that's why she brewed the fertility potion. She wanted him to live on and so volunteered her own body to make that happen.
If the Deez were stunned, howd'ya think Voldy felt?
"Hmmm! I wonder how this workBZZZZZZZZZZ!"
Element of surprise: Quite honestly there should have been more casualties for the good-guys. It was only the Death Eater's lack of knowledge about what they were facing, their overconfidence in their own image, and the Jedi student's intensive training over the past year that prevented it from being a disaster.
Next one is the end of this story. Until then...

Beautiful Writing as always. I did read this chapter the day it was posted, and I'm sorry it took so long for me to review it.
Even though I knew it was going to happen I was sadden when Ron was killed, and I hope Luna will find someone else who will lover her for her.
I wondered why Harry didn’t use his light saber during the graveyard scene?
Regarding Dumbledore If I were in Harry’s shoes I probably would have punched Dumbledore in the nose once he was glued down, for everything he’s done to him. Because I’m more of an instant gratification type of guy, I knew he wouldn’t do it, but I kind of believed Hermione did record their entire kitchen scene conversation, and was planning on posting it on the WWN anyway to seal the deal on Dumbledore’s fate in the eyes of the community.
I’m glad the Rapture didn’t happen this Saturday so I can read the final chapter when it comes out lol. I hope RL works itself out for you. Keep up the wonderful workAuthor's response
Hello, No-one.
I have been so very busy these lest few weeks, both looking for work and when I can find it actually working that I have had little tome for anything else.
Killing off Ron was the hardest thing i had to do. He is a likable character, but his fate was already written. Unlike Rowling, I made it fit the story.
Luna has those who love her, ant that will be in the aftermath/epilogue.
Why no lightsabers: He needed to keep it a secret. If the Deez were aware it worked in a magical environment they would have been able to warn Voldy, which would have made his demise a bit more complicated.
Punch: I considered it...seriously, but that would go against his set of ethics. In this case, I've made him the kind of guy who watches with a beer in his hand, while his enemies destroy themselves.
Hermione did record their conversation, but Rita will be writing an expose that will pretty much shred every part of Dumbledore's legend.
Rapture: It's funny. In the fifty years I've been alive, I've seen nearly a dozen different 'rapture dates' come and go. We're still here.
Final chapter may end up being two. I've written almost 20, 000 words, and I'm not sure if FicWad lets that much through in a chapter. I'll post as soon as I can get things straight.

Hmmmmm.....when Ron crossed over to the other side was he met by a certain green troll who smacked his shins black and blue for sheer stupidity? And did his uncles, James, Lily, and Sirius take their turn in telling him exactly how wrong he was? Of course eventually his mother and father will have their say......... his friends and siblings will have a few words for him as well. His ears will be ringing for a very long time! Serves the idiot right! Will he become Harry's prime lesson on what not to do in a crisis situation? Many thanks for a wonderful story! :)Author's response
Hello, Teresa. I've been awfully busy these last few weeks. both looking for work and working when i can find it.
Little green troll: I can see that. "Stupid you were! Careless you were! Reckless! A long time have I watched you. Always your mind on glory! Never on what you were doing! Glory, heh! Fame...heh! A Jedi craves not these things and now, because unready you were, dead you are!"
When Molly gets hold of him, she's gonna slap the holy crap out of him, and then break his back in a mollyhug.
I hated killing Ron, but really there was no other way to close that thread. He was reckless and prone to taking chance and combined with his canon personality, prone to temper and snap judgements.
While it would be a cruel reminder, I can see Harry doing just that. Ron refused to follow orders and because of that decision he made, he died. Had he not snuck through, Susan and Hannah would have covered Harry perfectly well. He literally died because he was too prideful to remain behind.
Until the next time...

Waiting on the last chapter. This chapter was really good. Thanks.Author's response
Hey mwinter.
I've been terribly busy looking for work and working when I find it.
The next chapter will be up soon, but since it's pushing 20, 000 words, I may have to chop into two.
Until then, then...

hi
i was just wondering when the next chapter was going to be posted. i think you mentioned to dennisud that the next chapter was the epilogue.Author's response
I'm so sorry it has taken so long. I've been hideously busy looking for work. I'm going to try to get the next chapter out this weekend if at all possible. Because of the length, I'm going to chop it into two pieces. an aftermath and an epilogue.

Is this the final chapter? It seems to be the climax, but leaving off the falling action where things are wrapped up with the aftermath.
It's been months since the last update, I hope it isn't abandoned.Author's response
Heya Slick
It has not been abandoned. I've been hideously busy of late. I am going to try to post the next chapter (aftermath) this weekend. the epilogue will come later.

Since there no feature to send you a PM, hope Ficwad accepts this instead. Are you still alive and with us? There are lot of folks in yahoo groups asking about this fic and if you are still with us or not.
Hope everything is ok and you can get back to writing.
Laters...Author's response
Really? I had no idea it was that widely read. (Gorsh!)
I am still alive, but I've been busier than a three peckered goat. (looking for work in an economically depressed area. Le sigh!
Unfortunately I've been having some difficulty with MSN/Hotmail as well. I had a spambot for a long while and two weeks after I managed to kill it off, they blocked my account. (Makes me wonder if they were the ones who planted it in the first place!)
I'm hoping to post the nest chapter this weekend.

Very nice. :)
Will the Terran Jedi ever go into space?Author's response
Sorry,no. If I did that, I'd have to work up an entirely new story arc, and believe me, four hundred thousand words is quite enought to be going on with.
