The Acts Of Betrayal

My, my. I have to say that you make interesting cases. Will there be anything left of the Wizarding world when you're done?
The Snivellus defense was beautiful, and the Dumbledore folding to it was incredibly ... credible.
slayersfan01 above has a point. This way, the prophecy clearly points to Dumbledore, as Voldie is little more than a thug.
Thanks for writing. You brightened a sucky day.

- The Aurors, Madam Bones, and the unnamed minister...
- Why not? I mean he forgave every other indignity the SOB visited on innocent children...
- The more I think about it, I believe he (and you ) are right. The Acts Of Betrayal

excellent chapter - I am glad that the 'encouragement to loquacity (spelling?)of Draco was off stage - but it could not have been close to what he deserved or he would be obviously and messily dead.
loved the vignette with Luna - she is a wonderful character, and I truly enjoy how clear headed your version is.
thanks again for sharing your talent

- Draco's a jackass who forgot that the women have wands too. I suspect Dad's example here.
- Luna is a lot of fun to write. I'm trying to come up with a all Luna all the time vehicle for her.The Acts Of Betrayal

Pity Dumbledore's gone mad. He ought to have learned by now that he's been betting on the wrong horse(s).The Acts Of Betrayal

Oh man, this is hella awesome. Can't believe the old man is defending rapists, but if you think about it, he goes down with them, so he'd be motivated to. Can't wait to see Snape, Dumbles, and the rapists get theirs. I also wonder if Luna saw any of the rapes with her gift. I also wouldn't mind seeing little Flitwick going apesh!t on Snape.Author's response
-Dumbles has defended every assholey thing that Snape and his happy house of horrors has done (in canon) it isn't the largest reach to have him supporting the rapists, especially when you consider the era he comes from where it was only rape if her daddy was rich...
- I've got a scene all written out of Flitwick cutting someone to ribbons in a duel... just looking for a story to use it in...The Acts Of Betrayal

Dumbles keeps getting worse and worse. I wonder what the wizarding world would say if they found out what has been happening at Hogwarts? The Acts Of Betrayal

I don't know how, but you've put out several chapters since the last time I read this. Still good; very good. Love the way Dumbles is building towards a very big fall. I hope Voldie is getting worried.
Thanks for writing this. It's very enjoyable.
Tom A.Author's response
- like Dumbles, Tommy is far too arrogant to be worried. I've come up with a solution to the Tommy problem that I've never seen used before (which given the sheer mass of fan fiction does not mean the idea is original, just that I haven't seen it.) I'm predicting that about 20 percent of the readers will be totally pissed at me, 20 percent will like it, and the rest will tell me it was stupid. The Acts Of Betrayal

I was pondering the currently insane Ron & Ginny show.. if there is any way to cure them, and the only thing I can come up with is to obliviate them back to before puberty, or maybe before they were out of their nappies. in order for them to become once again let them be in society, reformat and reinstall a new and better OS. victims however willing to DD's greater good.Author's response
- An interesting approach to mental health... It might even work, though it would be murder of the people they are, and the birth of the people they would be.
- From my POV neither of them were all that interested in 'The Greater Good' Both of them saw something they wanted and took the steps offered to them to get it. They forgot that people aren't property.
- Ron and Ginny forgot the most important lesson of life, karma is messy and will stick to your shoes. The Acts Of Betrayal

Hmm, I figured there was something throwing the two youngest Weasleys off, but I'd expected it to "just" be some mind manipulation by Dumbles, not sheer neglect of their mental health by him, even in the name of "the greater good". Between Dumbles' manipulations here and what he's allowed/condoned Snivellus and his merry band of rapists to do, I daresay neither his nor Slytherin House's reputation is going to have much, if anything, left; it's a certainty that Snape will be going down with the rest, especially now that the solid evidence has been passed to Madame Bones.
I wonder if Tommy-boy is going to appreciate it when so many of his "snakes" fall? OTOH, it'd be amusing if he was ticked-off at them for besmirching the name of Slytherin (really, I could just see him being that arrogant and blind to his own faults).
One "interesting" non-killing means of dealing with both Tom and Albus would be to find a way to strip them of their magic and then confine them to a muggle insane asylum since their talk of magic would make them clearly delusional.Author's response
- The image of Tommy getting upset at the thought of rape is tickling me... It's out of character for this story but might be fun later...

Nope, we're just of a similar age and have similarly twisted outlooks. 'Sides, the other really dirty thing to do to those two has already been done, forcing them to marry each other. :DAuthor's response
- Eww! Eww! Eww! It burns!
- Please tell me you're joking.
