There are a couple of things that I have to say about this story. One, you ended it way to short, however you did recap well. You did do that so I will forgive that. However, you left so much to the imagination that I do have to admonish you for that. Additionally Voldemort's demise was done so easy that it didn't do it justice. I hope that you don't end your other timeline story the same way. Please update. The Younger Potter Twin

Well, Voldemort's demise was a bit of an anti-climax, but I guess he wasn't the sole point of this story.
Nice to see Hermione and Luna again, and cute to see Luna with a 'Ronald'. Interesting that Harry still felt enough friendship for Ron to name his son after him, even if their friendship failed in the first timeline.
Thanks for the story! The Younger Potter Twin

This was really nice story.. I don't usually care for pre-Harry stories but this one was good... One thing though, i seem to remember watching Monty Python back in the late 60s...lol.. But then again, maybe all that peace and love in San Francisco fried my brain...lol..Author's response
Well, Monty Python only started running in the UK in 1969, so maybe it just SEEMED as if you were watching something Pythonesque :-) The earliest I remember it was in the summer of (I think) 1971, when the 'Silly Walks' sketch was featured on 'Marty Feldman's Comedy Macine' -- a summer replacement show in the US, with Python itself starting around 1973, but it could have started earlier elsewwhere.

Wow - this was a brilliant read. Thanks for writing it! Funny that Luna eventually fell for a Ron. The changes that came through seem a bit optimistic, particularly the modifications to the Wizengamot, but that's alright. The Younger Potter Twin

Hey I was just noticing that I havent seen you put out any stories lately so I went thru the authors tool to your profile. I found re-ordered which I remember came out couple days ago, (great and outstanding story by the way), then while scrolling down I found this, I remember that I had started reading this one night but had to go to bed, so I decided to re-read it, WOW! Great Story, I could I guess sit here and praise it to the moon, but the bottome line is and will always be GREAT F*&KING STORY! I hope you continue writing and putting out such great and outstanding and original hp fanfiction! The Younger Potter Twin

DrT,
This is arguably the most original Harry-Wins-but-is-Devestated-and-Goes-Back-or-Somewhere-Else tales I've read. It definitely is one of my all time favorites in that category.
You introduce an amazing number of unique constructs and concepts such as the government as it is, and how and why Purebloods are afraid of Muggles and have insolated themselves from them.
Several ideas are loosely similar to ones I already have outlined for my story. However, one of your ideas, Harry's security company, I've not thought of, and I might ask you if I may borrow it. Maybe not; I'll decide later.
Thanks for a marvelous tale.
AaranAuthor's response
Well, you're welcome to borrow it if the need arises. If it's for your dual story, I would imagine Mr. Granger would have some contacts in the home-security business. . . .
