I absolutely love this story. When I first saw the title I was absolutely sure I was not going to like it. You have the best Dobby that I have ever seen portrayed and I am happy that you don't try and make everyone perfect. The flaws are what make the character. Thanks for the quick update.Author's response
Hello, Amanda.
I'm glad you're enjoying the show.
I agree, the title wasn't the best choice, but at the time, it was the working title, and i got lazy, so I kept it.
Dobby: One of my favorite characters. Unfortunately, too many people write him with a 'Brooklyn Wise-guy' speech pattern. I carefully reread the books and discovered that other than referring to himself in the third person and adding a few qualifiers, his English is better than mine. In this case, I have him with a 'punishment induced' speech impediment, which is why some of the other elves speak more clearly.
I also despise perfect characters. Mary-Sue's have no place in fanfiction! If a character is perfect, there's no room for improvement and like you said, it's the flaws that make the characters interesting.
The next update is already mostly written so I -should- be able to update by this weekend.

Thought I would note, as a Star Wars fan, that Niman often uses two blades already and was originally a two bladed style. Also, Jar'Kai tends to require a great deal of both strength and speed to be used effectively. This does not seem like Luna's style at all as I think she's more of an agile fighter than a power fighter. Otherwise a fun chapter and a good addition to a good story.JEDI POTTER

A small thing here. Um When is harry going to ask Hermione to marry him? The day before they get married. Cause its coming fast. Also everyone of her famioly knows but her.Author's response
Next chapter. I would have put it in this one but I passed the 15,000 words mark and that's a bit too long for my liking. I set it for the 14th of April.

Hermione should have a say in her owbn wedding.
I like the Dobby and other Elves in ths story a lot they act lie real beings not some fake fluff.
Here are a few ideas and comments and questions:
Harry nees to tell the Hogwarts house elfs not to answer to Snape's calls, becouse it to close to Dumbledore.
If Sirius Black is dead, Harry should become Lord Black. If Harry becomes Lord Black, Harry needs to nulify both Narcissa Malfoy's, & Bellatrix LeStrange's marages, as well as disowned them from the Black family, as well as the getting the dowries returned to the Black family, and any prophet from any Black family money they received, as well as bringing Tonks and her parents back into The Black Family, if they can be trusted. By nulifing both Narcissa Malfoy's, & Bellatrix LeStrange's marages, Harry cuts a lots of funds from coming to Tom Riddle.
Since Harry is Lord Griffindor, Harry should also be Lord Slytherin by conquest, as Harry defeated Tom Marvolo Riddle Jr. a/k/a "Lord Voldemort", by destoring Tom Marvolo Riddle's, Jr. a/k/a "Lord Voldemort's" physical being as a child and again his (First, Second) year(s) at Hogwarts. Harry needs to cast "Tom Marvolo Riddle, Jr." out of the Slytherin family foever.
As Harry is heir of at least two of the Hogwarts Founders (or should be), Harry owns Hogwarts, he needs to fire Dumbledore and not alow him or any of his allies to enter Hogwarts ever again, as well as NOT allow anyone who has the Dark Mark to ever enter Hogwarts or any one who created the Dark Mark, or anyone that means harm to the students at Hogwarts, to ever enter Hogwarts.
Harry should use Godric Griffindor's sword in the war agenst Voldemort & DumbleDORK.
Author's response
Hello, Robert.
Hermione will have some say in her wedding (Judith will have more), but traditionally, the engagement dinner is planned without the bride's knowledge.
Dobby and co are some of my favorite characters, and far too often, they are overlooked by FF writers. Here, they're part of the family, in all senses.
Ideas, comments and questions:
Snape: Damn! I missed that! I'll add that order, either next chapter or the one following. Good catch, man.
Lords, etc: Harry is Lord Black. (Lord Gryffindor, Potter, Black) He has already brought Andromeda and family back into the fold. Bella is currently rotting under the ground, sans head, and Narcissa is a Death Eater. Harry has filed writ of conquest against all the Deez he and his crew kill off, so disowning them is not really a pressing concern.
Funding. He doesn't need to. At his instigation, Graswold has sequestered Dumbledore's fortune...and that of thirteen other families.
Guess which ones.
Until the audits are done, those families are penniless.
(Feel free to insert an evil chuckle here.)
Lord Slytherin. I had some ideas there, but following the most frequently used line of thought, if he became Lord of Slytherin house because he vanquished Voldy, doesn't that mean Voldemort became Lord Potter first...Not to mention lord of Houses Bones, McKinnen, Longbottom, Prewett, Meadows, and whoever he killed?
Too any headaches lay along that road.
As for casting Riddle out...he won't need to.
Firing Dumbledore: If Harry fires Dumbledore, that would give Albie time to plot. Since August, he's been having McGonagall quietly take over the running of the school. In canon, the board of governors were responsible for the placement and removal of the headmaster, and so, I'm sticking with that. Don't worry. It's happening next chapter or the one after that.
When Mr. Twinkles is gone, Minerva will be headmistress. ('The Ladies' are all on the board or influence it, and they will ensure that.)
She will most definitely not allow any marked student to return.
Assuming things don't go as planned.
Gryffindor's sword: He's got a lightsaber!
And Dumbledore is already done...he just don't know it yet.
Until next time...

A bit of foreshadowing early on. All right.
And let the prank plan begin. Hm. Goblin Jedi? Which brings up Buckbeak. Shouldn't Harry try and train the Hippogriff in the ways of the Force?
Hermione is driven. Her drive could be a flaw.(I know Harry will prvent it, but still.)
And Dung gets his comeuppance via Hermione. ^_^ And another nail in the coffin of Dumbledore. I know Harry is going to squib Dumbledore, but I do wonder what other punishments are heading his way.
Harry is now scaring Peevs as bad as the Bloody Baron.
You deserve far worse Dumbledore.
Go Harry and give Dumbeldore even more headaches by denying him any sot of House Elf.
Now Snape has more experience with Buckyballs and the Headmaster too.
Even though Snape has unreasoning hatred for Harry, he was right.
At least Poppy has put the two evil jerks out of commision for a couple of days. I do feel sorry for Poppy. As to Filch, I wonder if he's trapped in the castle by Dumbedledore and just takes his fustration out on the kids, since he's a prisoner.
Poor Lavender, she has a small taste of what Harry's life has been like.
Amelia meeting the Queen? She dreaded it, but knew it had to be done. She had to meet and explain what was going on. Death Eaters are like Satanic cultists.
I have to agree with Mack, Ron needs to stay behind. Maybe send him off to keep certain people form going anywhere(Snape and Dumbledore)
Harry's trying to find a balance between Jedi training and social interaction for the kids.
Forced suicide? Ouch. At least Harry gave a poignant funeral and speech. I'm actualy surprised that Ollivander wasn't there.
I have no idea what Harry wanted the elves for, but he's got a lot of volunteers. ^_^
the Law Office(snicker) 'Dewey Cheatham and Howe' has moved up on the to take care of list. So Harry has to get married to throw the Malfoys off once more. I see Harry going to Graswold and telling him about this and Graswol audits that law office.
New York? Well. It's big and famous, but it does have problems. Gang wars and all that.
What could have really caused some headaches for ole Dummydore is having the reception at Washigton DC. However, it has problems as well.
Philidelphia would probably be the best place. That city takes its reputation very seriously: City of Brotherly Love. So much so, it has the Good Samaritan laws. It would also be a good place for Jedi like Harry and Hermione to be at.
So Remus and Luna have got their lightsabers, and Luna has more than one. Nice stones though.
So the next to last form has been revealed. Harry will have to make two more lightsabers. A shoto for his left hand to allow Jar-Kai and then the Saberstaff.
Spaeking of liightsaber creation, Lavender. Of all the people there, I think she'll be the first to create a red lightsaber and since she's in medical which wears predominently white, she can get away with it. The first thing I think of when I see red on white? The Red Cross.
Now I can see why Harry didn't want to say anything. There'd be no point other than distracting Neville. I think the healers are starting to realize that as well.Author's response
Heya Disruptor!
Foreshadowing: "Why whatever could y'all mean?" (Fans self!)
I won't be going into the pranks except to mention that they're driving the prime targets batty.
Goblin Jedi: Can't see why not. it'll take some major revamping of their attitudes, but with the reformations Amelia&Co. are instituting, I can see it happening.
Buckbeak is in the forbidden forest. Perhaps in the future, someone can find an effective way to communicate with him and then...we'll see.
Hermione: Maybe driven isn't the word I should have used. She's driven /to excel/. Sides, people's flaws are what make them interesting.
Dung: I don't like the character at all. Fletcher is a worthless guard, who sleeps no duty, and is a half-arsed order member. And for the record, stealing from the dead is just offensive.
Dumbledore: Public disgrace, social ridicule, destitution,...erm, bad press...
~Harry is now scaring Peevs as bad as the Bloody Baron.~
That's because Peeves knows that Harry is dangerously powerful, and he might be able to affect him.
~You deserve far worse Dumbledore.~
Yeah, but it gets the point across.
Dumbledore, depends in his elves for damn near everything. Suddenly he has no clean socks and none of the elves will come when he calls. that'll drive him right up the wall!
Buckeyballs: Yep.
Snape: Yep2.
Poppy: Fortunately, Dumbledore needs her, and her doping him up can be explained away as being medical necessity.
Filch: I was seriously considering that, and I might include it in another fic. Here, he's just a nasty bastard with too much time on his hands.
Lavender is one of the few people in canon who didn't automatically turn on Harry whenever it was convenient. She was more Hermione's bugbear than anything else.
Amelia and the Queen: Agreement! Both are leaders, and both understand that in war, ugly things happen, and terrorists are the most dangerous soldier there are.
Her Majesty's new policy of giving more information is a balm. it doesn't make it all better, but it helps.
I agree. Ron is far too undisciplined. Even though he's grown up a bit, and even though he's advanced considerably, he's still prone to taking unnecessary chances.
He likes to show off, and unfortunately, one day that's gonna jump up and bite him.
I already have that planned for. As a matter of fact, I've been hinting toward it, throughout.
~Harry's trying to find a balance between Jedi training and social interaction for the kids.~
This was something in Star Wars canon that I had a very hard time with. Jedi are supposed to be ambassadors, but they seem more like cloistered monks living on their reputations. I feel that children should be free to be children, and carefully guided, not forced into a mold.
My personal theory is that at the end of the Sith Wars, the Master's Council was afraid of another Sith uprising and rewrote the code to hopefully preclude the possibility. Yoda would have been a young Jedi then and would know both codes.
Unfortunately, it didn't work. You cannot divorce your emotions without damaging what's left.
More...what the Jedi forgot was the word 'balance' means 'equal'.
Anakin did, in fact, bring balance to the force...or at least to the force users. at the end of Ep3, there were two of each side left.
Ollivander: Yeah, I blew it! That's what I get for writing at three AM.
OK, here's my story. He missed the funeral for a reason. If he were present, the elves would have bee more focused in him than on Bitty. He was watching from the castle, though.
Volunteers: (Grins)>^_^<
~The Law Office(snicker) 'Dewey Cheatham and Howe'~
The other choice was Cheatham, Grabbitt and Runne.
Quite honestly, there's no justification...yet. The law firm of DC&H isn't doing anything illegal. They've been tasked to raise a legal challenge based on pureblood law, and have done so. It's up to Harry to prove his continued existence.
New York/Washntpm/Philidelphia/etc:
I've been to more than thirty major cities the US while I was in the mil, and even more abroad.
I chose NY because I've been in that hotel. I took a girlfriend to 'The View' for dinner some years ago (never mind how many). It cost me nearly my whole paycheck, but the view was magnificent!
More to the point, the first thing people worldwide think of, when the US is mentioned, is New York City.
Remus'/Luna's lightsabers: I had to research the particular's of those stones, and added a little magic to Remus', but I can just see Luna being the one who introduces the concept of a second blade. I routinely fence with Rapier and main gauche, so, I'm familiar with two bladed combat.
Harry's second LS. He'll have the elves make another emerald/diamond stone. He has too much work to do, to take six days off. His second grip will be the same as his first, so he's already accustomed to it.
While the double ended saber-staff is ultimate cool, I hadn't planned on giving one to Harry. Remember, it took Darth Maul years of practice with a regular lightsaber, before he built it, and years more to master it. Harry has less than nine months of training.
Lavender: Remember, Harry's induced knowledge comes from Yoda who sees red lightsabers as being of the Sith. Harry wont forbid them, but other than the twins, the stones will be pretty much what's already been used. I see various shades of yellows, greens, blues, and purples. there will be the unusual ones, but for the most part, they will stick to the basics.
Neville.Longbottoms: Precisely. he can't help them and would only distract him from what has to be done.
Thanks for the wonderful review.

Oh my, I do have to wonder what all might be waiting for Harry and his plans, especially with him not seeming to have informed Hermione, she might well end up mad as hell enough to tell him to take a flying leap at a rolling donut. I felt bad for what Dumbledore did, and given his attitude lately, it did seem inevitable that there'd be some major injury or death. Looking forward to seeing if Dung can drop enough to implicate Albus but good, and will look forward to the next part and see which side does the next major damage to the other, as well as seeing if the Longbottoms can be brought back to the waking world. Got a good chuckle from Tonks saber there, and can easily imagine her giggling insanely as it all came together, even as Luna worked her own specialmagic with her own blades.Author's response
Heya Wonderbee!
"Take a flying leap at a rolling donut!"
I like that. Mind if I steal it?
It's fumy, though. One of the training aids we used in marksman training was shooting through rolling tires.
I really don't think she will. He's already asked her, albeit in an off-hand fashion, while they were talking to Mrs. Figg, in January, I believe. Here, he's just going to invite her to dinner, and pop the question there.
The magical bonding will take place in mid May, with Hermione getting pregnant soon after (...or before, depending) and the muggle wedding will take place after the story is over.
Dung is a minor part. While Amelia and the Aurors are going to bleed him dry, they're going to sit n the information, unless Dumbledore forces their hands. He's going to be going through some life-changing events and likely it'll be used for statistical purposes only.
But it's there in case hes 'hard to convince'.
The Longbottoms will not be coming back quickly. First the shield has to be eliminated and as Dumbledore placed it, it's dependent upon his magic. Which means, it should fall within four months after this story is over.
I'll include that in the epilogue.
Tonks' lightsaber. Funny it might b, but i don't think any woman would want to use that. As I indicated, there are thousands of little sand-like projections all along the hilt to ensure a solid grip.
PAAAAYYYYNE-full!
Still, it looks good.
I wanted Luna to have something that would reflect her unusual outlook. Her rainbow quartz blades are just the thing. Solid and yet, variable. Just how I see her.
Tune in next time...

Sighs......there really isn't that much to choose between Dumbles and Voldy as far as their actions go - both of them are in the running for Dark Lord of the Century! Dumbles might have been slicker at hiding his actions but then it helped that Voldy was such a flashy creep! Until recently Dumbles seemed to be keeping up with his subscription for "The Evil Overlord's List : 20th Century Edition ", but his current behavior shows that he's forgotten how to use the info! On the other hand, Dobby and Harry must have picked up a copy! They definately know how to inspire their minions! I thought Peeves was going to melt when they gave him free reign on April Fool's day! I'm glad that they made sure to keep him concentrating on the ones who deserve his attentions........ Snape must really be hating life; he'll never figure out what buckyballs are! Will he start testing all surfaces to make sure nothing's wrong? If he does that infront of Voldy or the Voldettes they'll think he's flipped. Then again extreme paranoia seems to be part of the DE's code. I enjoyed reading about Harry and Hermione's shopping trip and visit to the goblins. I hope that Harry does have a few goblin students someday! Will there be a run on the movies now by the young goblins? Who knows, Harry's Jedi council might have representatives from many, if not all of the magical ethnicites. I wonder if the Centaurs would be interested? Perhaps Harry could talk to Firenze at some point. As for the shoping trip, I'd say that Luna's wish list must have been interesting, and much appriciated by Ron! I'm glad that Harry was able to help the elves and give dear Dumbles clothes! Luckily he can't get anymore elves right now with his cash flow problem! The picture of him scrounging for loose change on the floors was priceless! Pity that couldn't be seen either before or after a board meeting! Rita would have it on page one! The descriptions of the new sabers was great, and I paticularly liked Remus's crystal. It's a good way of dealing with something that has caused him so much pain. I like Tonks and Luna's styles. Isn't Makashi Dooku's specialty? If so, I suspect he'd be suprized by those two practicioners! Luna's duo sabers are fantastic, and I wonder how many of her fellow students will plan on a future pair after Voldy's dealt with? One of the saddest and most moving parts of the story that I've read was what happend to Bitty. I think that the response of Harry and the others was perfect. Sigh....trust Malfoy to make a run at Harry's money; is he just greedy or trying to buy Voldy's forgiveness? As for the whole " Dumbles performing a dark ritual"
crap well, he should know all about those, shouldn't he! He's the idiot who wanted to be SIC to a sociopathic madman. He'd recognise one ten seconds into the meeting! Harry's talk with his future inlaws was hilarious, and if Dumbles did rip off James and Lily's rings and other possessions I hope they can be recovered at some point. Dumbles seems to be a petty theif like Dung! I trust that he had quite the inteview with Amelia and possibly Moody! Pity they couldn't a chance to set Snape up for a similar situation; Amelia would love to have him anserwing questions! No doubt it would solve several cold cases that both Dumbles and Voldy were involved with. Moody would be jumping with glee, just as he did for the training devices......are the Aurors cursing his name once again? Come to think of it, foreign Auror agencies might start asking Moody where he found those devices and asking for the connection. Maybe Harry, Stokes, and Moody could set up a buisness after the war! The meeting with Amelia and the Queen was also well done, and it was nice to see two strong women who are willing to face the necessity of what needs to be done, but not forgetting the innocents who have been harmed. Unlike Dumbles and Voldy they know what it is to be a leader, and what the cost might be. Dumbles and Voldy would rather rule and pass the cost on to others, and if innocents suffer well it's nothing to them. I can't wait to see that pair and they assorted minions get their well earned reward! By the way, I hope Fawkes has a lovely Spring Break with Luna and recovers more from the Lemon Drop Menace! Thanks again, and I'm sorry about the extra long review! YOu've written such a great story that I can't help it! :)Author's response
Heya, Teresa!
As I see it, the only real difference between Dumbledore and Voldemort is that Voldemort keeps his BS up front.
I love the evil overlords list!
Dumbledore's current behavior is because he's unused to having anyone question him and now, he's taken blows financially, politically and to his influence. He's trying to regain his lost influence, but with Harry &Co, always two steps ahead of him, he's on the ropes.
The biggest problem is that he still doesn't understand why. Things have gone so well for him for decades, and now, he's suddently unable to cope.
He's also obsessed with recapturing Harry, sacrificing him to eliminate Voldemort, and reestablishing himself as the undisputed ruler of wizarding Britain.
Peeves: He very nearly did!
Snape: I won't be going tn that much detail, unless it's needed for the story, but yeah, he's going to be twitching.
Goblin students: I do hope so, though it will be after this story is done. the goblins would have to severely adjust their attitudes to be Jedi, though.
All the magican species: Eventually, I hope they do.b It won't be in this story though.
Firenze. Ooh! Hard call! On the one side, he's intelligent and dedicated. On the other, he's focused on the stars almost to the exclusion of everything. If perhaps a few foals are trained to understand the other species, then yes...possibly.
Luna's request" I can see Luna asking for something like that. She's so much fun to write!
Dumbley and his elvish problems. Couldn't happened to a nastier piece of work! I'm guessing that unless Dumbledore buys the elf personally, (assuming he can find enough loose change(Now that would be a hell of a picture!(Snicker!)) his problems would remain. If the elves are bonded to the castle, they're bonded to Harry.
BWAHA BWAHAHA BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
~The descriptions of the new sabers was great, and I paticularly liked Remus's crystal. It's a good way of dealing with something that has caused him so much pain.~
I agree entirely, and is a primary reason I included that. It also ties into the final battle.
I see both Tonks and Luna as being Makashi users. It's graceful and elegant and while Tonks is clumsy in non active situations, she's apparently as surefooted as a mule in combat. I also use the rapier and Main gauche so this kind of fighting is not unfamiliar to me.
Duel sabers. Most of the students who stay on, will have to build another lightsaber, as Harry would want them all at least conversant with all the all the major and sub-forms. Most will choose a single style t focus on and another couple for variety, as the Jedi did. Yoda preferred Ataru, as does Dobby, Dooku used Makashi while Palpatine preferred Niman. Obi Wan was expert in Shii-Cho and Soresu but also studied Ataru, while Qui Gon was the other way around.
I hated to do that to Bitty, but with Dumbledore losing his touch and with the way he's been treating the elves since he began it was inevitable one or more of the elves in Harry's circle would be killed.
Harry's eulogy was very much his canon personality. He has a definite goal and Bitty's death only underscores the reasons.
~Sigh....trust Malfoy to make a run at Harry's money; is he just greedy or trying to buy Voldy's forgiveness?~
Yeah, he's a scumbag, but as someone once said, "he's a well qualified scumbag". He's not necessarily trying to buy Voldemort's forgiveness. It's more that he's trying to establish a war chest to use in the conquest of the wizarding world.
Wars cost 'sheckles plenty'.
~As for the whole " Dumbles performing a dark ritual"
crap well, he should know all about those, shouldn't he!~
Basically he's trying to discredit his primary opponent while glomming Harry's gold.
In-laws: I thought it would add some humour to the chapter.
Rings: I can see Dumbledore doing that. He's an avaricious old bastard with a skewed idea of right and wrong. Here, I've made him worse than he was in canon, but only a matter of degree.
Dung: He's gonna spill, but it will be off-screen. It's really not needed for the story. As for Snape, yepper! He's gonna be singing like a canary! It looks like I'm going to have to write a fairly lengthy epilogue.
Moody: Oh yeah! he Auror students are hating everything to do with Constant Vigilance!
The seasoned troops will adapt easily. The cadets dont' know what to expect, so they'll see it as just another kind of training. It's those who've served for years under Fudge, that are having the most trouble.
If Harry does provide the remotes, to the foreign Aurors, it will be on a loan basis, with one individual and a single elf responsible for their maintenance, and both will be oath-bound to keep them secure.
Amelia and Queen: That's always been one of my pet peeves of the military. If a soldier is killed in an action that could bring disfavour on some general, his death is explained away as a 'training accident'. It just makes me sick.
I agree with your assessment of Both Voldemort and Dumbledore. Neither of them gives a rat's arse pbout the innocent's who die in their little pissing contest.
Fawkes is enjoying his time snuggling up to Luna, but I suppose Ron's not particularly happy, as said bird is cramping his style!
Never ever apologize for a long review. I love long reviews. They both give me ideas I might not have seen, and make me think about decisions I've made.
Until next time...

I loved the pranks on Dumbles, Snape, and Dung and I hope that Amelia and Shack get all sorts of useful information out of Dung, the better to hang Dumbles with. It's good to see the house elves in Hogwarts having protection beyond what the school can provide (and I have to wonder how Dumbles will take losing command control of the house elves - Snape needs to be the next one removed from the command loop). The service for Bitty was quite moving and I reckon it provided quite a focusing incentive to Harry's people.
I thought Amelia's appointment with the Queen went well, you've got two strong-minded women who aren't about to shirk what needs doing. I suspect this will lead to some other interesting developments when the conflict is over.
The Malfoy's move was a typically underhanded one and I do like Harry's response. Where I think Harry's making a big mistake, though, is not telling Hermione and involving her from the beginning; he'll end up doing penance for that, I'm certain. Meanwhile, I'm certain they'll both enjoy what honeymoon, if any, they do get.
Judging by the fight they staged in Gringotts, the quality of those making their own lightsabers, and the way people are getting examined and promoted, the training is working and even Ron is doing better (methinks Luna has some unique approaches to "carrot and stick" usage, but whatever works). One thought, if Ron's judged too dangerous to take on the mission, perhaps he could take the equally important task of guarding Lavender and the medical support. Lavender is obviously learning a lot but, while I'm certain she can fight, 'twould be better to have a fighter there to help her.
I found the different approaches to evarall lightsaber design to be fascinating and interesting reflections of the persons making the different units. I do wonder, though, how long it'll be before Harry ends up making a second one for two-handed fighting.Author's response
Heya Cat!
Pranks are lots of fun an Peeves has orders to keep the main targets off balance!
While Amelia&Co. are gonna bleed Dung dry, the details aren't necessary to the story. If Dumbledore proved difficult they might come to light.
Too many writers discount the elves entirely. I see Harry as treating them more as family, and as family, they respond in kind.
I saw a funeral like that in Kenya. The casket passed from hand to hand over about a mile, as all the villagers said god by. I thought it was especially touching.
In war, the innocent are the first to die. Harry's eulogy will indeed focus them on the what, and the /why/.
Amelia and the queen: Queen Elizabeth is one of the few monarchs (and other governmental types, for that matter) that is actually respect. She served with her people in London during the blitz, driving a truck. he could have been evacuated but her family stayed. My maternal grandmother worked with her, and had nothing but nice to say about her.
She was 27 when she took the throne with determination and courage. She' not perfect, but I thinks she's done a great job since.
Other developments: True. The combined machinations of Harry and 'The Ladies', will ensure that even if Harry dies, the wizarding world will continue, but in an upward direction. The stagnation will be a thing of the past.
Underhanded moves: What else would one expect from Malfoy, the very definition of sleazeball. The funny thing is, the law he used is real, and was on the books well into the 20th century. Go figger!
Hermione will be involved in their bonding, and then their wedding, but the engagement dinner is what they were planning. That's usually done without the bride-to-be knowing about it.
Given that the training is going about nine time as fast as it should be, yes. they students are giving their all, and that effort, even with Harry, is telling. their demonstration will set a few seeds to sprouting, hopefully, and in twenty years or so, there might be a Jedi council encompassing all the magical species.
Ron: I tend to agree with Mack. Ron has advanced more than anyone else, but he's still undisciplined. he likes to show off and he takes unnecessary chances, and one day that will cost him.
There will be plenty of people left at the castle. Harry is only taking the twenty five or so best qualified with him. Oh, by the way, Lavender will be coming along as will both Jacoby and Merrifield. They may need medics.
Overall lightsaber designs: I feel that each hilt reflects the character of the individual. That 's the one of the things in Star Wars that I agree with. the hilts seem designed to honor the master, but each is unique to the padawan.
Harry: He hasn't got time to take six days off. Remember, he's training everyone else. I'm going to have him ask one of the force sensitive elves to make him a crystal like his, and the hilt he builds, will be identical to the one he carries. This way he's already familiar with it.
Thanks for the great reviews.
Until next time...

the only thing I would love to see in the fic is Harry making and using a saberstaff..Author's response
Hello, LDA.
Sorry, as I explained to Disruptor, Harry won't be making a saber-staff in this story. It took Darth Maul years of practice with a lightsaber before he even designed the staff, and years more learning how to control it. Harry's had less than ten months of practice. His advancement has been phenomenal, but he still needs to practice.

Another fine effort. Perhaps Dumbledore should be left to the elves for disposition. Thanks for writing. W.Author's response
Heya Wolfric!
~Perhaps Dumbledore should be left to the elves for disposition.~
Or disposal, perhaps?
Thanks for reading.
