Kate wakes from a nightmare, not realizing that her nightmare's are memories. Then she shares a moment with her daughter and Jack.

Megan goes missing. Meanwhile, Jack and Kate go on a frantic search, only to find her under a strange tree. The strange tree Kate woke up under a week after giving birth to Megan.

Jack and Kate fear the worst has happened to Megan, then Juliet informs them that a Medusa spider has bitten her and she has temporarily been paralyzed. This is Jack's worst nightmare.

Jack and Kate stay with their daughter and wait for her to wake up. Juliet tells Jack what the thing he saw as his father in the jungle really is.

Jack, Kate, Juliet and Megan return to the beach. The next morning Jack is awoken by Kate gasping for breath and soaking wet, smelling of saltwater. Had she been sleepwalking?

Kate goes for a swim, little does she realize she is sleepwalking.

Jack spends time bonding with Megan and Kate wakes up. Meanwhile, an unexpected visitor shows up outside their tent.

In a flashback we discover how Kate and Jack were expecting Megan and Juliet struggles with the fact that she may not be able to save them.

Jack has a confrontation with the man who's pretending to be his father, then he meets his second daughter Gracie, although briefly.

A flashback shows Jack and Kate getting breakfast from a papaya tree and then Jack does his best to comfort Kate as Juliet gives her the injection to save her and her baby's life.

Kate tells Jack what she's going through. Aaron gives Jack a warning about Megan.

In a flashback early labor seizes Kate and Juliet and Jack both try to fix the situation.

Jack and Kate have an argument about the Black Smoke monster taking Megan.

Jack does his and Kate's laundry as a way of making amends to her. Meanwhile Juliet informs Jack of who saved Kate.

Jack and Kate encounter Jacob in the jungle after three days of searching.

Jack tells Kate that Megan has a congenital heart defect.

Juliet informs Jack and Kate there is nothing she can do for Megan unless she finds a new heart.

Juliet and Jack attempt to figure out what the green substance in the vial is. Kate worries about what will happen to her family when they are rescued.

Juliet goes into labor and then Kate arrives at the medical station with a warning that the Black Smoke Monster is coming.

Juliet gives birth to Cara and she worries that they'll never leave the island.

Juliet has difficulty delivering her son Andrew, then Ben and the black smoke monster figure out a way to get into the room.

Jack, Kate, Megan, Juliet and the twins are all held prisoner at the old Dharma Barracks. Jack sees an x-ray of Megan's chest and finds some troubling news.

Jack tells Kate that Megan has a tumor in her right lung but that he can remove it. Then he has another nightmare about Juliet.

Sawyer goes after Juliet in an attempt to help her and the other's escape the Dharma barracks.

Jack switches out the green substance 'vaccine' for saline and gives it to Juliet. Meanwhile Ben gives Megan the vaccine.

Jack finds out from Ben that the 'vaccine' is supposed to protect the children and Juliet.

Ben brings someone who can help Juliet and Megan to the island.

Jack and Doctor Amberson believe that Kate's immunity to the virus can help Megan and Juliet.

Jack informs Juliet that he and Doctor Amberson are close to a vaccine. Meanwhile, Ben makes a serious threat that involves not only Jack and Kate's children, but Sawyer and Juliet's as well.
